History
The development on Elfie in August 2023. The main character, Elfie, was imagined a few years earlier and was inspired by an old plush elephant. Though the project remains largely a solo endeavour, Elfie now has a collaborator for it's music.

About Pressed Elephant
Pressed Elephant was founded by Philippe Rosa-Pong (Solomar) to encompass all things Elfie related. Though the focus is currently on game development, other non-game projects such a picture books and coloring pages are also in the works.
Sol's Atelier was the name used for most of the game related things I (Philippe) did in my spare time. But when I decided to focus on Elfie related things, I wanted them to have their own distinctive name. Pressed Elephant was a "fake" studio name I used for my entries to the Famicase Exhibition in Tokyo. And now it's real!
